Experiential Learning for Hands on Education

• Pegasus School of Liberal Arts places a high priority on Experiential Learning, facilitating and encouraging "learning by doing" through frequent, free out-of-classroom experiences for all students. The school views its location in the heart of Downtown Dallas as a learning laboratory, leveraging the area’s rich resources to provide firsthand experience that strengthens observation and improves information retention.

• These regular field trips are integral to the K-12 curriculum, connecting classroom-acquired knowledge to the real world. Specifically, students often visit institutions like the Perot Museum of Nature and Science to engage with hands-on labs and scientific exhibits, the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) for exposure to creativity and fine arts history, and the Audubon Center (often implied as part of nature/outdoor learning) for environmental education, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to learn outside the traditional classroom walls at no cost to the learner.
