Middle School Program

Our middle school program is built around the whole child. Students explore their creativity through music, art, and creative writing; tackle real-world problems through STEM challenges; and gain hands-on experience through off-campus learning and extended physical activity..
Beyond our core subjects of English, Math, Science, and Social Studies, students will also enjoy enriching courses in Art, Music, Creative Writing, and STEM Challenges. Through exciting field trips and hands-on real-world experiences, learning extends well beyond the classroom walls.

Our comprehensive Fine Arts program is designed to inspire students and help them discover their passions as they explore pathways for high school and beyond.
Why Does Creativity and Extended Physical Activity Matter?

Creativity allows students to:

  • Become better problem solvers.
  • Improve critical thinking skills.I
  • Increases engagement and motivation in education.
  • Students learn to see mistakes not as failures but as opportunities for new ideas.

Increased physical activity and play helps students by:

  • Boosting blood flow to the brain, improving focus and cognitive performance.
  • Better behavior and decreased restlessness.
  • Movement reduces anxiety and depression, and boosts self-esteem.
  • Active play fosters teamwork, friendship, and conflict-resolution skills.

While technology undoubtedly plays a significant role in our daily lives, research suggests that students thrive academically through traditional, hands-on learning with paper and pencil; therefore, we will be limiting technology use in the classroom primarily to STAAR test preparation, ensuring our students are both well-prepared for standardized testing and grounded in the proven, foundational methods of learning.
