What does this change mean for current students and parents? |
When will we move to a centralized campus? |
We are excited to have all of our students, K-12, located on a single campus for the 2021-2022 school year. The Pegasus community will live under one roof including all of Teachers, Staff, and administrative offices. |
Over the summer we will move from of our Upper Campus location on Akard street to our current Lower Campus location on Field and Commerce. All students will begin the new school year at the centralized campus at 1222 Commerce street. |
What does this move mean for the Lower Campus Building? |
Will Pegasus still offer sports, arts, and extracurricular activities? |
The Lower Campus will undergo renovations throughout the summer to accommodate all of our students and staff between the four floors at our Commerce location. The renovation plan includes new classrooms, restrooms, and offices. |
Yes! We are excited to continue and offer all of the same academic and extracurricular opportunities for our Students. Students will still have access to fine arts, music classes, sports, academic competitions and more. |
Will this change anything for our students in college classes? |
Will drop off and pick up hours change? |
Students in grades 7-12 are still able to participate in our college and career readiness program. We are thrilled that our older students can continue to walk to El Centro for their college classes from the centralized campus. |
At this time we plan to keep all drop off and pick up hours the same. Students grades K-6 will drop off by 8 am and pick up by 3:30 pm. Students 7-12 will drop off by 9 am and pick up by 4pm. We will continue to offer before and after school hours as well. |
